Refitting The Interior
First I added some additional sound deadening. I hear some good reports with using builders flashing. So having some in the garage from an extension I used it.

I still have the original sound deadening so that will go back on top. The floor had all been painted with hammerite after the welding, then primed and sprayed. I also filled the pocket bases and the door inners with waxoyle.

The rear shelf board was covered in rotted carpet, so I stripped that and recovered with some fake leather. Spray glue is good for this.

Looks good fitted with some speakers in place...just a shame my photography isn't as good...

Original seats and cards cleaned up well, I like them, so they went straight back in...

Then the doors were refitted, a fairly straight forward process.

I decided to paint the switch plate the same colour as the body, I think it's a nice touch.

The dash top was fitted and a new bush on the bottom of the sterring column was added.

Front carpets fitted and clocks...

Gear stick & gaitor, & seat, just waiting for the new wiper arm then the cowl and wheel can go on....

and then I dropped a bollock..... The ONLY thing I didn't pull apart and rebuild was the heater matrix...as soon as I filled the radiator, the front foot wells flooded.

So the carpet was dried out, it's still as new, and a new matrix was bought...

Then the light stalk broke, so a new one of them was sought...

Then that was it, interior done!
