REAR CORNER POST REPLACEMENT
This wasn't in anyway planned or even remotely urgent. But is was cheap and easy and improved the look of the Landy's tatty rear end a little. I was helped along in this decision by the fool who drove into the original post and tore it off, the one on the other side was, for some reason, very rusty anyway. I used the galvanised ones as I'm not too bothered about the unpainted look, and I didn't have any paint!

First, get a fool to tear off your only non-rusted piece of metal, then drill out the rivets with a 5mm drill, then fiddle to remove the wiring for the lights (hardest part!)

Then rivet on the new panel which will probably fit in a vague sort of way!
Just like Meccano. I put sealant around the edges to keep most of the water out, you could seal the inside of the rivets also if your bothered. Refit lights, check they work, that's it, done!
